We don't hide our prices.
Neither do we hide what you're paying for.

What it costs, what it covers, and why.

PRICING TRANSPARENCY

Why we publish our prices.

Most AI consultancies don't publish prices. Keeping numbers off the page forces a conversation before a prospect can self-qualify out. We think that's the wrong approach. If our pricing doesn't work for your business, you should know that before spending time on a call.

Every Business IQ engagement is a fixed price agreed before anything starts. Find produces the information that makes Fix scope honest. There are no retainers, no vague monthly commitments, and no invoices that arrive larger than expected.
What follows is exactly what each stage costs, what moves the price, and what you get, including the parts most consultants leave out.
Our pricing

Find, Fix, Keep.

Three stages. Each one useful on its own. Each one better because of what comes before it.

Find.

Start here. Understand exactly what's costing you.
A structured two-hour session that maps where your business is genuinely losing time. You receive a prioritised output document with friction map, opportunity list, and a clear first action path, whether you proceed with us or not.
Genuinely useful whether you proceed or not
£1,000 to £1,500
Fixed price. One-time.

Fix.

Remove the most painful thing first.
We take the highest-priority opportunity from Find and build a working solution against it. Scoped precisely so there's no ambiguity about what's being built or how success is measured.
No surprises on cost mid-engagement
From £1,500
Fixed price. Scope agreed before we start.

Keep.

The team that keeps making your business run better.
We become your external AI and automation delivery partner. New solutions built every month from a backlog you own. Existing systems maintained and improved. A rolling roadmap aligned to where you're taking the business.
Not a retainer. Continuous delivery.
From £2,000/month
Less than £65 a day
Fixed monthly pricing
Foundation £2,000/month · less than £65/day
For businesses building their AI and automation stack. New solutions delivered every month, existing ones maintained. The starting point for every new Keep client.
Advanced £3,000/month · less than £100/day
The natural progression as your stack matures. Once you're running complex, decision-making automation across multiple systems, the monitoring, response, and delivery depth increases to match. Most clients reach this point within their first year.
Every Keep client starts at Foundation. Advanced is where the work takes you. Not where we push you.
The full picture

The cost components
most consultancies don't mention.

Most AI consultancy pricing covers the build. What it rarely covers honestly is everything that sits around it such as the AI model costs that run on your behalf, the orchestration platform that keeps workflows running, and the maintenance that every automation needs as the technology landscape changes. This video covers all of it.
If you have a specific question after watching, bring it to the first call. There are no wrong questions about cost and no pressure to commit to anything. The call is a conversation, not a pitch.
BIQ FEE
Find, Fix, and Keep
Covers discovery, build, testing, documentation, warranty, and ongoing delivery. Fixed price agreed before anything starts. No hourly billing for builds, no surprise invoices.
PLATFORM AND RUNNING COSTS
Yours, not ours
Once something is built, you own it entirely, the workflow, the logic, the AI models, the platforms. API consumption and token usage belong to you. We calculate estimated running costs as part of every build, and we select models deliberately as not every call needs the most powerful option.
MAINTENANCE
After the warranty period
Every solution has a maintenance tail. APIs change, platforms update, processes evolve. Within Keep, maintenance is included. For Fix-only clients, ad-hoc support is available after the 3-month warranty period. Simple systems need very little. Complex ones need more.
† Platform running costs are indicative. Actual costs depend on usage volume, model selection, and the number of deployed systems. BIQ calculates a specific estimate for every engagement before sign-off.
† AI model selection is made deliberately on every build. Where a simpler, lower-cost model produces the required output reliably, we use it. You are not paying for capability you don't need.
What affects the price

Six factors that move the number.

Fix engagements are fixed price and agreed before anything starts. These are the factors that determine where in the range your engagement sits.
Complexity dependent
Complexity level
A single trigger with one output is straightforward, an AI agent making decisions across multiple systems is not. The level of complexity is the primary factor in where your Fix engagement sits in the range.
Can increase price
Integration count
Every additional platform connected adds API configuration, authentication management, and testing overhead. One system is simple, four systems that need to talk to each other is a different engagement entirely.
Can reduce price
Data quality
Clean, consistent, well-structured data reduces build time directly. The less pre-processing and validation logic required before the workflow can use your data, the less scope we need. This one is largely in your hands, but something we can support with if its not had the care it needs.
Can reduce price
Arriving from Find
When Fix follows a Find session, the scope is already defined. We know exactly what's being built, why, and how success is measured. That precision reduces time spent in scoping and reduces the contingency built into the price.
Can increase price
Platform API stability
Well-documented, stable APIs are straightforward to build against. New, restrictive, or frequently-changing platform APIs require more iteration, more testing, and more contingency built into the scope.
Complexity dependent
Security requirements
Secure deployment is standard on every BIQ build. For regulated sectors or sensitive data environments, additional governance and compliance steps are required. This is never optional in these environments, only the depth varies.

Fix or Keep

The honest comparison.

Fix is the right answer for one clearly scoped problem. If your Find session surfaces three opportunities or fewer, commissioning them individually makes sense. Most Find sessions surface at least eight to ten. At that point the maths changes, and it changes significantly. The table below shows what that comparison actually looks like.
Fix.
Engagements only
Keep.
Foundation or Advanced
Cost over 3-4 motnhs of delivery
£7,500–£15,000+ Depending on complexity mix. Each engagement scoped, priced, and agreed separately before work starts.
£6,000–£12,000 Depending on tier. Continuous delivery against your backlog — no per-item scoping or sign-off required.
Maintenance after delivery
Ad-hoc at £150/hr. Expect £300–£2,400 per system per year depending on complexity. Reactive: you pay when something breaks or an API changes etc.
Included. Proactive monitoring on L3+ systems. API changes and platform updates handled before they cause failures.
Friction to start new work
New scope, new proposal, new sign-off for every item. Each engagement starts from a standing start.
Added to your backlog. No process overhead. Work moves in the next sprint with no delay.
Continuity
Each engagement starts from scratch. Context about your business and systems is rebuilt every time.
BIQ knows your business at depth. Every month builds on the last. Value compounds, so each new build is faster and better informed than the one before it.
Annual Review
Not included.
Included - a fresh Find diagnostic every year at no additional cost. A new prioritised opportunity list for the coming year.
Best for
One clearly defined problem. No broader backlog. You want one thing fixed and nothing else on the list.
More than three opportunities identified in Find. Systematic, compounding delivery rather than one-off projects.
Cost over 3-4 months of delivery
FIX
£7,500-£15,000+
Depending on complexity mix. Each engagement scoped, priced, and agreed separately before work starts.
KEEP
£6,000-£12,000
Depending on tier. Continuous delivery against your backlog, no per-item scoping or sign-off required.
Maintenance after delivery
FIX
Ad-hoc at £150/hr. Expect £300-£2,400 per incident depending on complexity.
KEEP
Included. Existing automations maintained and monitored as standard.
New builds per month
FIX
One engagement at a time. New work requires a new scoping conversation.
KEEP
Included monthly. Work pulled from your backlog, no additional scoping required.
Roadmap and prioritisation
FIX
Single opportunity focus. No ongoing roadmap.
KEEP
Rolling backlog built with you. Quarterly reviews. Annual Find diagnostic included.
Right for you if
FIX
You have one clearly scoped problem and want it solved before committing to anything ongoing.
KEEP
You want continuous improvement, a team that knows your business, and compounding value month on month.

Fix is genuinely the right choice for some businesses — the ones with a single specific problem and nothing else on the list. If that's you, Fix is what we'll recommend.

For most businesses that go through Find, the backlog is longer than one item. At that point Keep is not the more expensive option — it's the cheaper one, with maintenance included, continuity built in, and no friction to start the next piece of work. The numbers above are not a sales argument. They're the honest comparison.

The investment

One hire costs £55,000 before they've shipped anything.
A dedicated AI team costs less and compounds every month.

Hiring: year one
£55,000+
Salary, employer NI at 15%, pension, recruitment, and onboarding, before they've delivered anything useful.
Hiring: year two onwards
£46,000/yr
Salary plus statutory on-costs. No recruitment. No training. Just the cost of keeping them.
Keep: what you'll spend
£24,000–£36,000/yr
Most clients start at Foundation (£2,000/month) and move to Advanced (£3,000/month) as their deployed stack grows, typically within the first year. Both figures sit well below the cost of a single hire.
Hire figures based on a £40,000 junior AI specialist salary with 2025/26 employer NI at 15%, minimum pension contribution of 3%, and CIPD average recruitment cost of £6,125. Keep range reflects Foundation to Advanced tier progression. Ongoing hire rate calculated across 260 working days.

Pricing questions

Everything you need to know
before you get in touch.

No. If you already have a clear picture of what you need built, we can start with Fix. Find is for businesses that know something is wrong but are not sure where to start. If you know where to start, we skip straight to the build.

Tell us what you are trying to solve and we will scope it. If it is clear enough to build without a diagnostic session, we will price it as a Fix engagement and get started. Find is a tool, not a rule.

Most Fix engagements complete within two to four weeks from scoping to deployment. More complex builds take longer. We agree the timeline before anything starts and it is written into the engagement scope.

Within Keep, maintenance is included indefinitely. For Fix-only clients, ad-hoc support is available after the warranty period. We will always tell you what to expect before the warranty expires.

Keep runs on a 12-month minimum term with rates fixed for the duration. That applies to every term, not just the first one. After your initial year we renew in 12-month blocks. If you need to exit early without cause, we agree a fair settlement on the remaining term. If you are leaving because we have not delivered, we make it right first and if we cannot, you leave without penalty. Keep compounds over time. The annual term exists because that is how long it takes to show you what it actually delivers.

Everything. The workflows, the logic, the platforms, the AI models. Nothing is locked inside BIQ systems or dependent on our involvement to keep running. You own what we build. Token usage and platform costs run through your own accounts from day one.

Our model is built for businesses with five to thirty employees. Smaller than that and there is usually not enough operational complexity to justify the investment. Larger than that and the problems tend to require a different kind of engagement. If you are on the edge, the introductory call will tell us both whether it makes sense.

Book an introductory call and we will usually have a Find session scheduled within two weeks. Fix starts as soon as scope is agreed. Keep begins the month after Fix completes.

Before every Find session we have a short introductory call at no charge. If that conversation does not suggest there is something worth investigating, we will say so and we will not take your money. If we proceed to Find and the session does not surface anything genuinely actionable, we will tell you honestly and refund the fee in full. In practice this has not happened. Every business we have worked with has had more friction than they realised. But the promise stands.

Broadly yes. Friction is not industry-specific. We have worked with media businesses and construction companies. The diagnostic process is the same regardless of sector. If your business has processes, people, and systems that do not talk to each other as well as they should, we can help.
